Corona del Mar...I fell in love with this unique fabulous village years ago, when showing a home to one of my clients. Within a year, my husband and I became the proud new residents of a city and environment that would change our lives forever. Even now and years later, upon the return from an exotic vacation or European adventure, we still joyfully anticipate the return home.

Corona del Mar is much more than a resort community. It offers beautiful scenery, various restaurants, shopping, and of course the beach. Sherman Library & Gardens is an excellent escape from everyday life, situated on an expansive 2.2 acres. The Gardens provide a museum of living plants, displayed amidst a setting of immaculate gardens, patios and conservatories linked together by wide brick walkways, beds blooming with seasonal flowers and bubbling tile fountains. The Library is a specialized research center devoted to the study of the Pacific Southwest.

And then there are the many varieties of food and dining available, which are just a short walk away from most areas in Corona Del Mar. Five star restaurants compliment the drive down PCH from beginning to end.  Many travel from all over Southern California to enjoy these wonderful atmospheres and fine foods. There are also many fine restaurants located in the expansive outdoor shopping mall known as Fashion Island. 

Did I also mention our very own beach and how easy it is to access within walking distance from anywhere in the village?

With this community of copious amenities and lovely people, is it any wonder that during the market correction Corona del Mar was one of the cities listed to be least impacted?  And what’s more, there’s something here for everyone on our charming streets.
